Overview

Hands-on Robotics Thinking

Students explore sensors, logic, and mechanical problem-solving through guided robotics activities and design challenges.

Live Small-Group Instruction

Each class includes live teacher support, modeling, and collaborative discussion so learners can test ideas and improve their designs.

Build and Iterate

Learners practice breaking larger engineering problems into smaller steps, testing what works, and revising with purpose.

Robotics Makers Lab introduces students to robotics through structured live instruction, guided experimentation, and practical STEM challenges. Each session helps learners connect coding, sensors, and engineering design with real problem-solving. Students observe examples, discuss how systems behave, test simple ideas, and reflect on what they would change next.

Learning Goals

  • Explain how sensors, inputs, and outputs work together in a simple robotics system.

  • Use guided problem-solving steps to test, revise, and improve a small robotics challenge.

  • Pre-Requisites

    No prior robotics experience is required. Students should be comfortable following live instruction, trying multi-step tasks, and discussing what they notice during simple experiments.

  • Weekly Rhythm

    Families can expect a predictable cycle of instruction, guided build time, troubleshooting, and reflection.

  • STEM Confidence

    The course strengthens persistence, systems thinking, collaboration, and confidence with engineering vocabulary.
