Robotics Makers Lab

Robotics Makers Lab is a hands-on engineering course where students build, test, and refine simple robotic systems while learning how mechanical parts, sensors, and control logic work together. The program emphasizes practical experimentation, encouraging students to prototype, observe results, troubleshoot issues, and improve their design through iteration. Learners explore how movement, structure, power, and sensing interact, while also practicing communication and teamwork during group problem-solving activities. Each session blends guided instruction with active building time so students can connect engineering ideas to something physical and visible in front of them. By the end of the course, students should be more confident turning ideas into working builds, explaining design choices, and adapting when a first solution does not work as expected.
