Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 9
beginner

AI Literacy Lab helps students move beyond the hype and understand what AI can and cannot do. Through guided demonstrations, structured discussions, and short reflection tasks, learners build a practical vocabulary for talking about prompts, patterns, outputs, and trustworthy use. The tone mirrors our Python course: approachable, project-based, and focused on confidence through repeated practice.

Learning Goals

  • Explain in plain language how AI systems use patterns in data to generate predictions or responses.

  • Use a simple evaluation routine to check whether an AI output is accurate, helpful, and fair.

Other Details

  • Pre-Requisites

No technical background required. Students should be comfortable reading short passages and sharing ideas aloud.

  • Checkpoint routines

Students evaluate outputs, compare tools, and explain which responses feel most useful and why.

  • Discussion-rich

Every session includes partner talk, teacher modeling, and one short take-home reflection.
