Chess Foundations: Learn the Board, Pieces, and Smart Moves

A beginner chess course that helps students learn the rules, piece movement, check, checkmate, and smart decision-making. Chess Foundations helps early elementary students learn how chess works while building focus, patience, memory, and problem-solving skills. Students learn piece movement, board setup, check, checkmate, basic captures, and simple strategies. The class uses guided practice, mini-games, puzzles, and short games so students can learn by doing.
