Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 8

Creative Writing Studio gives students a reliable structure for turning ideas into polished short pieces. Each meeting includes a warm-up, a mini-lesson on writers' craft, guided drafting, and a short reflection or share-out. Like our Python course, the environment is practical and encouraging: students try something small, get feedback, and build momentum week after week.

Learning Goals

  • Use concrete details, dialogue, and structure to make a short piece of writing more vivid.

  • Revise a draft by identifying one craft move to strengthen and applying it intentionally.

Other Details

  • Pre-Requisites

Learners should be comfortable writing a short paragraph independently.

  • Drafting practice

Students leave each lesson with a concrete paragraph, scene, or revision move already started.

  • Idea generation

Prompts and mentor examples reduce blank-page anxiety and help learners begin quickly.
